Cricket Academy Batch Timings and Admission Process
One of the most common questions we get from parents is simple: which batch, on which days, at what time, and how does joining actually work. This page lays out our batch structure and admission process clearly, so you know exactly what to expect before your first call to us.
Our Batch Structure
We run batches across different times of day to fit different schedules, whether your child is a school-going student, a full-time residential player, or someone who can only train on weekends.
Morning Batches
Typically 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, suited for younger children, homeschooled students, or players training before their school day begins.
Afternoon Batches
Typically 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, suited for students with flexible school timings or those attending school in the morning shift.
Evening Batches
Under floodlights, typically starting from 5:30 PM, ideal for school-going students training after their school day ends.
Weekend Batches
Longer, concentrated Saturday and Sunday sessions for families who cannot manage weekday training. [See Our Weekend Cricket Coaching →]
[Intern: confirm exact current batch days and times with the academy and update this section with specific schedule details before publishing.]
How Batches Are Grouped by Age
Under-12 batches, focused on fundamentals and coordination
Under-14 batches, building on technique with more structured drills
Under-16 batches, more intensive, competitive-level training
Under-19 batches, advanced coaching for serious, competitive players
The Admission Process, Step by Step
Step 1: Initial Enquiry
Call us or fill out our admission enquiry form with your child’s age and your preferred program, whether that is full-time residential, part-time, or weekend coaching.
Step 2: Academy Visit
We recommend visiting the campus in Chidderwala before enrolling. You can see the ground, nets, and where relevant, the hostel and dining area, and meet the coaches directly.
Step 3: Trial or Assessment Session
Depending on your child’s age and program, our coaches may suggest a trial or observation session to understand their current level before assigning a batch.
Step 4: Fee Discussion
Our team explains the exact fee for your chosen program, along with what is included and what is billed separately.
Step 5: Enrollment and Batch Assignment
Once admission is confirmed, your child is assigned to the most suitable batch based on age, current level, and your preferred timing.
What to Bring on the First Day
Most new students should bring basic personal cricket kit if they already have it, comfortable sports clothing, and any prior playing history or achievements the coaches should be aware of. Contact our team beforehand if you are unsure what to bring.
